Abstract

In this study , it was shown that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an increasingly important concept for businesses and its potential to provide long-term value. It emphasizes how CSR strategies can serve as a competitive advantage by enhancing a company's reputation to both customers and consumers. The study specifically puts the effectiveness of Tommy Hilfiger's CSR strategy into theory by analysing the CSR strategy of the case company Tommy Hilfiger. This abstract highlights the impact of CSR strategies on the value created for the PVH company, with a focus on the social, environmental, and ethical implications of these hidden added values. It emphasizes the role of customer attitudes towards the company's CSR strategy and commitment in shaping their perspectives. The study concludes that Tommy Hilfiger's CSR strategy is not effectively meeting its objectives. Despite positive indications in its CSR report regarding contributions to the economy, human development, and the environment, the evidence of environmental destruction and human rights disregard. The article concludes by providing suggestions to enhance the viability of companies operating in the fashion sector.
