Abstract
The ballet business environment is fraught with uncertainties, prompting organizations to implement changes in their operations to enhance business processes and generate revenue. Change is essential to establish a unique working culture and improve business performance. Business leaders play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for economic prosperity, but they cannot accomplish business improvement tasks alone; they require the support of employees. A strong relationship between ballet leaders and dancers is contingent upon mutual respect and meeting the needs of both parties, including emotional, social, and monetary needs, which contribute to creating a unique working environment.
This dissertation focuses on the economic issues facing the New York ballet industry and seeks solutions to avert its potentially bleak future. The dissertation comprises five chapters:
Introduction: This chapter provides background information on the problem and outlines the general and specific challenges facing the New York ballet industry.

Data Analysis and Findings: Chapter four presents an analysis of the collected data and the findings derived from it.
